With reading sometimes you come across a novel that makes you think, or cry (that's most of the time for me), or smile, or even make you want to chuck the book across the other side of the room. But either way, it made you feel something and you will always remember that when you see that particular book.
So here is a list of my favorite books in a short, no spoiler review.
We Were Liars - E. Lockhart
I just - no words! No words!
The D.U.F.F - Kody Keplinger
One of the most realistic, relatable and incredibly witty contemporary novels I have ever read.
It's Kind of a Funny Story - Ned Vizzini
This novel really makes you see through the eyes of this main character. You feel all the feelings he feels. It is one of the most truthful and raw books I have ever read.
Legend - Marie Lu
I have mentioned this book before but honestly, this dystopian novel is one of the best I have ever read.
The Selection - Keira Cass
The Bachelor meets dystopian? Yes please! This whole series was amazing and so entertaining with super cute love scenes.
Looking for Alaska - John Green
What is a favorite book list without John Green? This was the second book of his I read (The Fault in our Stars was the first) and no joke he brought me back to the wonderful world of reading. This book made me laugh, cry, cringe and gasp.
The Giver - Lois Lowry
This book didn't have my attention full until the end. No spoilers but the ending made me sit back and think so hard about what happened. Like...What?

I'm always up for new book recommendations. I'm reading Looking For Alaska at the moment, but Divergent is my all time fave xo
