If you haven't heard, Youtube star Zoe Sugg (aka. Zoella) has written a book! The book is named Girl Online and has already started breaking records. Now I haven't been able to pick up a copy yet so no, this isn't a review. But I would like to a appreciate how the world is changing their ideas about online personalities.
Zoe Sugg isn't the first blogger or Youtuber to write a book, but her book has broken JK Rowlings 1st-week sales record which is amazing! Most people don't consider being a Youtuber or a blogger a real career option but this shows how the internet can shape lives.
With the increase in online personalities gaining 'real life' attention it may seem people's ideas of the internet change for the better. Now excuse me while I go and purchase Girl Online.
