Being a procrastinator sucks. This year I have tried to change my 'procrastinator ways' since I am in senior at the moment, and for the most part its going good. However on those rare days I just do whatever I can not to do my school work, that even involves going outside. Wow, I know right!
Anyway, as I sit infront of my computer screen with a pile of books to my right and my school texts books to my left I am going to a compile a list of study tips for the everyday procrastinator. These are all what works for me, what works for me might not work for you. I'm no doctor so I don't know if the stuff I talk about, including the brain and what not, is true...

No Phone, No Problem
You know that phone that is always attached to your hand? Yes, that one. Put it down. Turn it off. Put it somewhere away from you. Your Instagram, Twitter and Facebook can all wait.
I find it hard to disconnect but trust me it is worth it. Not having the temptation of looking at your social media lets you focus on the task at hand.
Colour
Simple but quite effective. I find writing my notes all in different colours according to subject or unit really helps me remember stuff more clearly. And as an added bonus your books will look super cute!
Breaks
Breaks seem like the opposite of what you should be doing but everyone needs a break occasionally. If you over jam your brain with study you probably wont remember anything. I usually take a small break (a minute or five) every half an hour and take an hour off at lunch time.

Yes, the word we all love. Sleep is defiantly important. Having a good nights sleep before an exam can help you remember what you studied, and who doesn't like sleep?

I'm a pretty big procrastinator too, so I know the struggle. Coloured notes always help me out too. Great list!
